BIOGRAPHY
I (she/her) received my B.A. in Biology from Pomona College in 2012 and my Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Iowa State University in 2020. After primarily studying the macroevolution of functional morphology in lungless salamanders through my doctorate, I have shifted my field of research towards invertebrates. As a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Michael Collyer's lab, I am developing a user-friendly interface for one of the most useful statistical and visualization tools in computational and evolutionary biology (R package, geomorph), while researching the macroevolutionary patterns of form and function for beetle elytra.
